WednesdayMaking decisions can be very tiring, so i slept in until 10. :) Lunch later with yenyee jiawen and xianmin at lot 1 then off to my house!
WE MADE COOKIES! loads of them, normal, double chocolate and peanut butter. and
XIANMIN DID SOMETHING (and she's very proud of it). :) heehee. Our cookies were all so cute and tasty and FILLED WITH LOVE. 309, you better feel it when you munch on our branded cookies tmr. After a few batches of cookies, we decided to do our own 3 minute meals cooking show. Funnehhh. "i thought we agreed not to use the ticking sound?"
ThursdayHIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2 screening in class! Yay! I WANT FABULOUS! ok, i'm officially addicted to that song. Acting rich is so fun. HSM songs are always so addictive. Haha i've got the vids to prove that.
Class closure, class party, class cleanup. I WAS QUEEN OF 309 FOR THE DAY. And when the queen says "Can you all stop moving?" very loudly (even though it's only to the jesters whom she wants a pic of), ALL HER ROYAL SUBJECTS PAUSE AND BECOME SILENT. I love being the queen (: Yi-lin and yenlin were my fellow royalty.
I think the maths teachers are very nice, nothing like a little encouragement to keep us going. Just like primary school. :D Can't blame them for the kinda cheapo prizes though, it came out of their own pockets.
Gym was as usual, trip to gym was not. Stupid BARBOSSA and her when-sth-is-in-my-way-i-don't-go-ard-it-i-move-it mindset. And I swear, trying not to laugh when you obviously want to is very tiring. plus mouth cramping.

I thought it was settled. Honestly. And i was so happy over it too. This just PROVES that NO ONE can have their cake and eat it too. The person who came up with the idiom was sure smart. So yep, i have until 10 pm to decide whether to go to DALI and XI AN (which interestingly, when put together, spells xian) or to stay in sunny singapore and go for gym farewell. HOW HOW I CAN'T DECIDE. and i have half an hour left.
Ahh, ok, i'll talk bout today first. Happy (: We haven't taken excursion bus ride together for so long. Right at the back of the bus, we talked about our dear childhood. haha. teletubbies "tinky winky is purple! no, he's blue!", enid blyton "omg, i have tons at home", power rangers "eh i liked the pink ranger most!" and charmed. Lew guiqi was damn amusing. "I liked the pink ranger so much, i wanted to call myself KIMBERLEY LEW" and then afterwards, when the topic shifted to charmed. "Omg, I loved the main character so much, i wanted to name myself ALYSSA LEW." Haha.
Omnimax was k3wll but giddying. Lecture was simply hmm. I wanted to look for the ninja-window washing game after that but we ended up looking at optical illusions. Lunch at pizza hut was so good. and cheesy. poor yenlin had to wait for her pizza for like ages. School-goers left after lunch and the studious rest went to the library. Quite cool, but i was so not in the mood for reading. The rest were all so absorbed in their chosen reads and i was like randomly flipping through stuff like biological warfare and endangered animals. Oh yes, at the library, we saw this book with an author who's called Lizabeth sth and i pointed out how weird that name is. THEN, LEW GUIQI went "i wanted to call myself LISABELLE last time, after elizabeth and annabelle." omg, guiqi, are you trying to be the next yenyee? Kimberley Alyssa Lisabelle Lew GuiQi. :D
Gym was pretty killing. Pre-gym was fun. I think i'm going to die of carbon intake after all the bbqs i have to attend this year. And apparently, my potato scheme won't work. Perhaps corn will be better.

We met our goal! yay, very good 309. :D And we won shooting and had the best shooter. :)
The day started out oh so wet and rainy. At least there was no scorching sun. Everyone changed into the shirts. They look good. And cuz the shirt is pretty small, they were all very fitting, unlike the usual potato sacks. Fitting shirts make us look skinnier. Haha :D Cheer was kinda pathetic, so never mind. But our playing wasn't all that bad. We won a few, lost a few and drew a lot. During the game against 303, my sole fell out. Not because i was playing, but because i jumped so much in excitement. Haha. I had to go through the rest of netball carn with a soleless shoe though.
Everyone played great! But i think our MVP of today is our dear Choo yen! Yay, damn pro. Congrats to 306 for winning. Btw, i swear, the PE Dept/School is really cheapo. Chips, wang wang and ribena as prizes?!? Then again, in primary school, the captain ball prizes were RECYCLED NOTEPAPER. The teachers-netballers games were awesome. Some teachers are pretty good. And funny. Heh. But the netballers pwn la.
After results, we kinda pic spamed. And then we played a new game. I hereby name it NETSOLE. Featuring my rubber sole. A group of players stand around the net and try to fling the sole in. First person to do so wins! Haha. I glued the stupid sole back to my shoe later though.
Was supposed to have class lunch at Sushi Tei, but we ended up going to Seoul garden. With only 16 ppl. That's not even half the class! But whatever, we'll go for lunch together another day. Jiawen Guiqi and Carol pangsehed me. Hmph. And i don't think it's very value for money. The black pepper beef is delish though. I kinda just ate lots of meat and tofu. Feel the fatss. The ice-kachang bar's really cool! and i found out that ice-cream totally does not go with jelly. Ok, remember that.
Pics and vids now! (:
(Anal, blogger, anal.)
Earthquake 1 at 0.11, Earthquake 2 at 2.56 and Earthquake 3 at 3.50. Cuz we like, scored, scored and won! Haha, one of the best games of today. It was against 303.
Earthquake at 2.30. Cuz we scored and later on won! Yay, another great game. Opponent was 308.
Our revolutionary game of netsole. See above for game rules. Choo yen won!

YAY YAY Our prettaye shirt is done!
309, your darling class chairs and a very helpful yenlin (do thank her!) spent their sunday morning at yours truly's house fixing up your class shirt. And it's GORGEOUS. Cept for some which we kinda screwed up. Only slightly! Please don't kill us! Thank you. But yes, most of them ended up as something i know you'll be very proud to wear. :D Do you want a preview? Yesyes, i know you do! SO, PRESENTING... 309'07's CLASS SHIRT! Please welcome the hits and MISSes of 309!
Lol.
The tablecloth/blanket shirt. Haha
Nice right? I don't care, it is! I stressed so much just printing the letters, yenlin did them at almost twice the speed i did. But we had a lot of fun doing them. Yishan the painter(of the stencils), Wan ting and yenlin the printers, and ruixin the shirt-hander. haha, we kept suanning ruixin. (jiawen, you would have loved to be there)
Went shopping in the afternoon and i found a new friend. (okay, i didn't find, i searched. Went to action city in Bugis and Plaza Sing just to look for it.) Say hello to my new friend, ____! (secret name)
Isn't it so adorably cute? And no, i refuse to acknowledge that it's chappy the rabbit as my brother says. It's my dear ____! hah. Alright, netball carn tomorrow. Go 309! Do your best! But whatever the outcome, i'll still love you. (:
10:37 PM, Friday, October 26, 2007
haha ok, i didn't really know what to title this post. So yep.
I forgot to blog about ice-skating on wed! anw, we went down, met xianmin and her sister and then yenlin came. quite fun la, but some blinking idiot speed skater knocked me down and my camera skidded right across the ice and i had to CRAWL over to get it. Speed skaters are all buffoons unless they can give a very good reason why they like to skate really fast, spew ice at everyone and make them fall. Another stupid one was wearing this huge yellow jersey which said "ALAN". why would you want people to remember your name when all you do is make people fall down huh? Anw, people recognized xianmin! and asked for a photo, haha. total stardom man.
Shaw was just plain embarrassing for xm, haha, i don't think anyone has owed mcdonalds money yet! heehee. We talked and took lots of pics and vids which made us happier cuz cameras make you feel like you're still carrying something worthwhile. I don't think that made sense but whatever. We had lots of fun (:
Left to collect shirts after that and they're kinda heavy really. and bulky. And singaporeans are such that no one in the whole stinking bus offered me a seat throughout the half an hour even though i was carrying this huge plastic bag roughly the size of 5 big watermelons. So i had to stand, and doze off standing. Hmph. But the shirts are pretty nice :D Shall not put pics yet, spoil the surprise!
coolest picture of the day!

309 WON INTERCLASS RUGBY! WE WON THE FIRST EVER INTERCLASS RUGBY!
and i wasn't there with them.
oh man, pre-lead camp was good (: but you don't know how much i wanted to be down there with them. Good job to 310 too for winning volleyball. and to everyone for playing their best!
HELLO 309! Even though i couldn't be there by you all i still think you all are the BEST and i'm very very very proud of you all. You all pwn both in rugby and softball. I've heard the highlights and the nitty-gritty stuff about the matches and i still want to hear more! I only managed to catch half a match but I can tell you all are damn pro already. yes yes, I LOVE YOU! Who cares if the prize is just a bottle of H20, we showed em all! Nevermind if we're damn shit at netball (maybe we're not!), WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS FOR RUGBY! Once again, i would have given anything to have been able to be by the field or on the field, running and tackling my heart out for the class. I've heard about and seen your injuries and i feel even sadder. GET WELL SOON. You all are the best! :D And that's how gu-niang we are, hah. Rugby's so cool man. AND I BLODDY HAD TO MISS IT. Okay, forget it, it's over. I'm really exhilarated 309 won! YAY YAY YAY. I ♥ 309.
Right, pre-lead camp. It's pretty fun :D Ice-breaker games, sharing, talks, DISC profiles (aka. psychologist training), planning, jungle dance which they made us do loads of times and heart attack which gives you a total backache. Haha, yep. Lead camp should be fun (:
Gym was so loser and tiring today. At least i met ivy. She seems happier now. Not as stressed :) But i'm pissed now, cuz i have to go to china when i don't want to. STUPID STUPID STUPID. Especially since it clashes with sec 4 farewell. I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO SETTLE THIS. SUCKS. ok, more negotiation needed. byebye.
Wait, i need to end this post happily cuz it's mainly about 309 and rugby and i'm happy about 309 and rugby. So, WELL DONE, ILY.

Kimi wa Petto. For those who are anti-matsu jun, this is the drama to watch. All your steel and stone hearts will simply melt awayyyy at the sight of Momo. HYD2 is so annoying, hope it picks up in the later episodes.
Anw, 6G gathering date is confirmed. 15 november 2007. Come if you can! :)
Tmr's schedule sounds super boring. And it totally aches to move an inch. harumph. ok, bye.
Momo! 私は愛する!

This is lovely. It's been one month since i last did gym and the first thing on laoshi's list was conditioning. Stairs look menacing right now. D: BBQ yesterday was fabby, lots of food and fun! Wading in baby pools can be very wetttt though, especially with yi-lin's youngest brother around. Little monster who was determined to splash us all, but very cute monster. :)
Yesterday began well with social studies. Social studies makes me happy now, used to hate it. Hehe. Then was class cheer production and netball prac. At least class morale is up a little :D Supposed to have rugby prac but it was too late so, oh well. Did CmPS for a while then went to get back english and chinese. It was terrible. I've never ever ever done so badly for english before. Even chinese was better. I repeat, CHINESE. Just that i had a kazillion cuo bie zi and actually used kanji instead of chinese while writing a word. Haha.
After lead camp briefing, i went back to class and played dress-up ariel with chooyen, yenyee, jiawen and aera. then we fooled around with the love calculator for a while (7 children and a dog, heehee) and then proceeded to optical illusions and brainteasers. lots of laugh. We would have done more, but we had to go for the bbq.
Okay, pictures will do the talking now.
Stand up and speak out for poverty!
K-box on Wednesday (missing: yi-lin and aera)
Dress up Ariel!
Eager beaver :D
Chaotah satay
love!

17,18,19. You could smile or you could cry. Pick one.
I haven't gotten over geog yet. Physics wasn't as bad since i didn't have that high expectations. But geog is just depressing. Now that you think of it, GPAs are actually a sucky way of computing your score. Half a bloddy mark can make all the difference.
But maths was good! yay, happy happy. What will tomorrow be, i wonder? English is a confirmed bleh. There's still hope for chinese and ss, i pray pray pray for at least a 26.
Ok, no more depressing stuff, since i just finished watching hana yori dango! SWEETNESS 100%. Friends and co. were talking today about how stupid it is to actually laugh and cry at people pretending to do stuff (eg. dramas). and yeah, it's kinda dumb now that you think of it, it's not even real. But that's what we all do. Like me, i can really FEEL the heartbreaks and the sweetness and yes, it makes me happy. :D So keep the dramas rolling in!
And since i have finished both the jap hana kimi and hana yori dango, i shall dedicate this paragraph to my darling IKUTA TOMA and MATSUMOTO JUN. I know most of you would think "EWWW" but they are just so DARN CUTE. and I know lots of you will go "Urgh" when i say i like MATSUJUN, but he is honestly NOT ugly and very adorable. (: yep. Jap dramas are so nice but annoyingly short sometimes. NINE episodes of HYD is not enough. I want more! Oh wait, there's HYD2. Joy :D
I forgot abt Kbox yesterday! F-U-NNNN. I think we were higher the last time but this time was funnier! Haha, we were given such a stupid room though, everyone walking in and out of Kbox had to pass by our door and i'm pretty sure they looked in. Embarrassing X 285410375028. I took a video of our -ahem- attention grabbing actions but it stays private! Until xm can blank out our faces. heh.
The list! The hot guy list! Haha, yes, activity for stagnant, close to dehydrated brains. But what better way to spend 2 hours before chem than to do a little euphoria inducing activity? ;) I swear the librarian hates us though. Then again, no one can exactly keep absolutely quiet when it comes to talking about those on the list, eh? It's not completed yet though, so yeah, not ready for public display!
Ok night night, i have to brace myself for tmr. I realize almost this whole post is representative of my intelligence now - so Doumyouji Tsukasa. ;D

Today was the supposed FUN-IN-THE-SUN outing at east coast park roller blading, cycling, picnicing, the works. But yes, rain decided to make a special appearance.
Anw, let's start from the start. We met at Bedok mrt and proceeded to have a gorgeously delicious ice-kachang which was puny. Then guiqi arrived and we went to ECP, where it started raining. Lunch at macs and then to the skate rental area. It was still drizzling so we walked from one rental area and back. Then we finally got our roller blades and off we went.
Timeline:
2.45 We put on skates
2.50 We go down the slope together to get to the path for roller blading.
2.51 Yi-lin and guiqi (holding each other) fell FLAT SPLAT at the end of the slope. Jiawen swerved and fell into the grass patch. Wan Ting couldn't stop and glided on for 3m more before turning. Xianmin and Carol managed to stop and help yilin and guiqi.
Omg, it was super scary! The two of them really fell flat onto the hard hard ground and yilin got 2 abrasions, one on her hip and another on her elbow. The hip one was really bad so we helped her get off her skates and brought her back to the skate rental area. Jiawen decided to wait for us at the grass patch. So yilin sat down at the bench, looking paler and paler. The bike rental guy brought us all sorts of stuff, cotton wool, yellow lotion, water to wash with, water to drink..
THEN YILIN FAINTED. SHE BLACKED OUT COMPLETELY. She was just sitting on the chair and we were all calling her name and shaking her and using medicated oil but she was totally unconscious. Her whole face was pale and sweaty and her lips were purple. Xianmin, the guide who's supposed to know first aid, decided to call a first-aider. So huiqi told us to call for an ambulance. -.- and check her pulse. Jiawen checked and said "MODERATE PULSE" haha, it was quite freaky. We were all going "omg omg she fainted! How how?" and calling her. Then she suddenly WOKE UP. She just opened her eyes like that. And she couldn't remember fainting at all. Oh man, it was damn traumatic. How many people faint from getting an abrasion?!? But it looked really really painful. Owww.
Anw, we deduced that she had low blood pressure or blood glucose levels or sth and since she obviously couldn't blade anymore, Jiawen and her changed to a double bike. And off we went. Oh yeah, it was still raining. And we realised we didn't move an inch from where we started for almost an hour. like, 2.50: skate rental area. 3.35: skate rental area. Heh, but we just went off in the rain anw, and looked so despondent, with our wet hair and clothes.
We bladed for less than an hour but it was freakishly TIRING. Every fiber of my being was tired and i don't think i lost any calories at all. Halfway through blading, xianmin asked a question.
Xianmin: Omg, someone tell me i'm normal. I'm hungry.
Everyone else: -silence-
HAHA, xianmin! Then while going back to the rental area, the front chain of their double bike fell off. And jiawen had to switch to the back so she could bike. It looked really funny, cuz she was biking really hard and yilin looked super relaxed in the front. :D
We went back to macs after blading and then walked back to the bus stop. On the way, we decided to take jumping pics but xianmin couldn't take them! Mine look much better. Hah xianmin.
Today was actually really fun, cept for the stupid rain. WE NEED TO GO AGAIN WHEN IT'S SHINING NICE AND BRIGHT. haha, we're like squeezing all our activities into one week!

Walking along orchard road never felt so good. It must have been the first time in a really long while that we could walk for as long as we wanted and not feel our conscience whispering in our hearts very loudly "Shouldn't you be studying at home now?" Math was as good as physics. (read previous post) But whatever, it's all over! Apparently, the rest of rgs thought so too and when in orchard, rgs girls are literally all around.
So we went walking in circles around orchard. Sushi Tei was great, and we tried to be quiet. And we figured that when going out in a group, the only way to get everyone in the same photo was to employ the help of mirrors. So yep.
Planned movie was Nanny Diaries, but no, we missed the showing. So we went for Balls of Fury instead. Nvm, excuse to watch another movie. BOF was extremely lame and all, but funny like shitzzz. None of us knew what Maggie Q's surname stood for though. (Qiu? Quah? Oh right, it's Quigley [credit:yilin])
Neoprints are like a must for any group outing, we went twice. :D We realised that choosing a background doesn't really matter when there are 9 of us in a 2.5m x 1.5m photobooth. All you can see are faces! But yes, loads of fun :) I love you all. ♥
Ok, compared to yesterday, today was TERRIBLE. (Claire, are you reading this?) NOTHING went right at all, nothing. Thank goodness i'm home now, thank goodness.

ONE MORE.
JUST ONE MORE.
Omg, i'm already tingling with excitement. 10 am, October 11 marks the END of EYAs 2007! Yes yes yes! Oh, but it's maths. ew. it always ends with maths. But i think i'll screw up the paper so ah well. It's what happens after maths that counts. (:
Frankly speaking, the past few days have been quite fun. How many times do you get to get home by 10.30 on a school day anyway? Anw, all the studying has got our brains frizzled and for the last 3 exams (chinese, physics and maths), i think i haven't studied as hard as i should. Chinese was pissifying (but surprisingly not THAT difficult), physics was total disaster (a 10.0 on the Richter Scale if you ask me) and maths, ho hum.
When the clock strikes 10 tmr, CHEER YOUR HEART OUT. Cept for the maths RA ppl. Poor things, i sympathize with you. But yes, I CANNOT WAIT FOR TMR! Pure, unadulterated fun! :D We've worked so hard to enjoy that glorious moment, NOBODY can ruin it for us. GET IT?
10:28 PM, Friday, October 05, 2007
I should never have gone to school at normal time today and saved myself the million dollar question and a huge load of embarrassment. Other than that, geog was alright (: only i need a 86% to get overall 4.0. hurhur.
Eng and lit felt okay too, but usually if i feel alright, it means i'm going to do like shit so yeah. Let's hope we all get to fulfil our ice-cream treats! :D Four more to go next week, three if you exclude chinese. Chem physics math, how nice. Only that i'm going to fail math. seriously, i look at some r&f theorem questions and I WANT TO CRY.
Exams are honestly fattening. My fridge contains seven new packs of Tim Tams which is = 2497589347682780572905 calories. and 917237594756076897638946559 grams of fat. Even my dad says i look fatter. Screw you food, screw you exams. Everyone else gets thinner due to extreme studying and stress. Looks like i defied nature's law.
And yes, because im so nice, i shall thank lim yen yee here for pulling me back into reality just when i was getting way too absorbed in the world of geographical knowledge. Thank you very much and no, this is not sarcasm. :D Thanks loads, and i can't wait for next Thursday, 10 am!
9:41 PM, Tuesday, October 02, 2007
Ok, i should so not be blogging but, WHATEVER.
I still can't believe my family's choosing to go to DALI of all places. Like, China. Arghh, not that i have anything against china(taiwan not included) or anything, but i just don't really feel like going there again. One million and one places available but nooooooooo, it has to be DALI. My family is so cheena sometimes, it gets exasperating. Good gracious, do they have something against the other countries? Just to mention, Taiwan was on our list (of 2 choices, ho hum) and yours truly fought so hard for Taiwan instead of DALI but was out voted. It was like:
DALI: Dad, younger brother, elder brother, mum
TAIWAN: ME, mum
It's so bloddy annoying really. I tried to convince them but it was like convincing yenlin to stop studying right now (i wouldn't ever try that, don't suggest you do either.) So yes, being the trying-my-best-my-ultimate-best-to-stay-positive-about-this-family-holiday-thing- person i am, i went to wikipedia to look up Dali. And when one of the entries was "
Dali City, Taichung County, a city in
Taiwan, The
Republic of China " I felt "Taiwan, yippee!" for two seconds, and then realized the second entry, "
Dali, a city in
Yunnan province in the
People's Republic of China."
Lovely.
And the disgusting chinese compre so does not make me feel better about chinese or china.

Everyone who's feeling bummed or stressed out should go and do a little clearing up pronto. I tidied up the slums on my table (they were getting out of hand, 1m x 30 cm x 50cm) and lo and behold, I feel much better! Must be all the feng shui that was being blocked out.
Okay, fine, it wasn't really cleaning up. I just separated the stuff into "i need now" and "i don't need now". Needless to say, the "i don't need now" pile got thrown unmercilessly into a very pretty plastic bag and was stowed away somewhere till i've got the time to deal with it.
But still, it's effective! :D really energizes you, yep. so get off your bum now and..
DECLUTTER, DESTRESS. Support clearing up, welcome your feng shui. (this advocacy thing is starting to get to me.)
Oh, and i reread My Sister's Keeper last night, it's an amazing book. I cried at least 10 times through it. Did I mention it's my second time reading? Anw, GO READ IT.
on another note, i think im doing the teeniest bit better at maths now. Hopefully it lasts. (: good luck for exams everyone!
(cool! i started and ended this post with "everyone", PEOPLE-CENTRED.)
