Burnt. By a test tube, right off the fire. Now i have a lovely patch of skin which looks like it's festering. Thank goodness we weren't marked on handling lab equipment this SPA, or i would definitely have failed the lab safety part. And the worst thing? I totally messed up my SPA and topped it off with a burn. :/

Anw, that was yesterday, today was ss and i actually felt quite good about it after finishing :D then i heard everyone else's answers and well, i hope i can do well.

Rewinding back to the past two weeks (or i won't have anything to read when i'm old), there's been banner painting for CMPS, SLI, TDD, English Orals, lots of tennis and manymanylessons.

Banner painting at my house over some weekend! :) VV fun. Our productivity was quite high at first and then i switched on the tv. Turns out that xinen elyssa and i all like the lion king. haha, and we love simba! um, and we uh, were kinda saying that he was good-looking. For a lion. lol, kids at heart, kids at heart. And the thing about Disney movies is all the sing-along parts. It's so fun to sing along, especially for the nice songs. Anw, we managed to finish within 2 days at 3-4 ppl/day so yay.

SLI - G.O.H was quite a good speaker, i actually listened! Lots of investing and stuff, Chooyenlin walks like she wants to kill someone. And i borrowed my brother's camera for the day and since its shutter speed is probably like half of my old camera's, i took all the photos at all the wrong times! Eg. The person in the photo is either half walking to the bowing spot with one leg off the ground or halfway through their bow so you only see the crown of the head. Bah. Items were on the average, good. Anw congrats to everyone involved. You've been invested.

Post-sli aka 10 am. Jw and i decided that there's no point in going to orchard so we went down to my hse instead. We bought char siew rice for lunch at a hawker stall called "Just Do Eat". Harharhar. Squash was really good :D You feel the calories melting away. and the new phrase is "Broke it." heh. Ate lunch and watched POTC 3 (again) but it's still nice. Then we played neopets and its silly little games. haha, the bank one could give you a heart attack. We pogo-sticked because she saw my pogo stick. and then she fell. heh, like right on her behind. hoho, i have the video. After all the fun, jw left, got distracted and then promptly got lost in mandai. and i didn't hear her calls for help so yeah, thank goodness for nice bus drivers. :)

Total Defence Day - surprisingly entertaining. Had fire drill and marched off to the field as usual and TW and i talked abt different ways of extinguishing fires. haha. like breathing in all the oxygen so the fire can't burn. the civil defence swooped down after like 45 min or so to demonstrate their skills of fire-extinguishing. well, they sprayed the netball courts. Food rationing in class afterwards and we had one whole hour, which we, as good students, put to good use. We played some chinese verb game thing, those that they play on taiwanese variety shows. only it's mighty interesting for our version, we fling our rations at the person who makes a mistake ;D Most hit victim: GUIQI. HAHAHA.

I hope my orals were okay. Fine, i mispronounced paradigm. Not a terribly wrong pronunciation, but still obviously wrong. And i didn't exactly give a global perspective. Hmm.

Lessons still as usual, except some have transcended the normal levels of bore. If it was even possible. Eg. physics. and geog. Tennis is still fun, but i absolutely detest 2nd and 3rd block PE. the sun just glares down at you. and picking up balls is so not fun. as with running. I HATE RUNNING. Unless it's interesting, like, not just rounds around the track. 2.4 feels like a nightmare now. and it's in 1-2 months. I have no idea how people actually run marathons or even ultra-marathons. Just thinking about it gets me tired.

Getting back to the present, i have maths pt to finish. We kept changing our game so yeah, we kinda just used 1.5 weeks to finish it. Founder's Day is tmr, my last founder's day. I've always liked founder's day. :) And Mrs Tan's the GOH. Yay, i think the school's missed her.

i WAS supposed to be greeted by that in the morning, but someone came especially early (betcha couldn't wait to see me, haha) so yeah, wasn't as much of a surprise. but still really sweet, thank you. :D

Carol's cakes were ohmyword. they LOOKED good, and TASTED good to boot too! She should really go into cakes and pastries next time. Then i can do the cookies! haha, i baked cookies for people. Lots of the sticks broke but nvm :)

Oh man, that is so cute. Charlie Brown's actually such a nice guy but he always gets bullied. Poor boy, at least he has Snoopy. :D

It's already Week 7, time sure flies. and the damned exams are approaching again. I resolve not to screw up any of them to get a nice GPA. Then again, my dad says it's the A levels which matter and even if i don't do well for them, i can go open a bakery and he'll help me manage it. Haha, my bakery will be a super-classy one called "THE WANTING", named after my non-existent hotel. The slogan will then be "You know you WANT it". Support my hotel/pastry shop if they become existent one day! You know you WANT to ;)

The pig's gone and the rat's here. Yay, i like the year of the rat. :D

CNY celebration was quite fun, the qipao modelling thing was so cool! and pretty. Class party was She's the Man. Very funny and channing tatum ♥. Hope you're alright Ms Kee. Went shopping with Jiawen afterwards cuz yenyee pangsehed us. We walked for hours but didn't buy anything but it's ok, cuz we're both very not-impulsive buyers and very scared of shopper's regret (jiawen's term). She convinced me out of buying the not very worth it umbrella. :D we had takoyaki and i don't like octopus. it's so.. weird. haha. i'll just stick to ham and cheese.

CNY this year has been slightly more fun than last year. Just visiting but i saw my distant cousins! They are absolutely adorable. A pair of boy two-year old twins, Leonard and Lucas. They're very hyper and jump around, bringing coke and sweets to you when their parents tell them to. The older one's very smiley but shy while the younger one looks kinda fierce, hardly smiles but is very friendly. heh. when we tried to take the older one away, the younger one pulled him to a corner and blocked us away! haha, awesomely cute.

But my parents' old friends gathering was still oh-so boring. and it's worse this year as it was at someone's semi-detached, unlike last year's multi-purpose hall where at least there's somewhere to disappear to when you have nothing to do. Maybe it's cuz i don't go socialise with the other kids or something, couldn't be bothered to. So my brothers and i just hid in the kitchen and played hangman. ah well, at least there were angpows. That night was much better. We went to my uncle's new house. Omg, it was very big, very luxurious and very very pretty. It's like a small scale palace, really, complete with gorgeous mini pool and all. And for once in a long time, my cousins and i played cards. haha, i learnt how to play texas poker but i think i was the first one to bankrupt (we used chips instead of money). I won like once or twice only.

On another note, i swear i am never going into the amazon. Anaconda did a fine job making sure of that.

Dang, school's starting again tmr.
