Hasta la vista, baby. It's the 100th post! :D My blog actually survived till its hundredth post.
Viva: Ohmyword, i screwed it up.
World Bank talk: Hmm, pretty interesting, actually. And the speaker looked like pre-transformation Mia. Oh, and for lunch, the only stall with proper food open was stall 7. Yes, that's right, stall 7, nasi padang. We queued for a grand total of 20 min. But the worst part? We were standing in front of 2 very nasty women.
"Lit-study Session": The worst morning of my life. I got off the bus and it was raining really heavily. So out comes the umbrella. I advance on the pavement. The wind blows. Whoosh, my umbrella upturns and i try desperately to pull it down, which is extremely embarrassing. I struggle to get it to be normal again and continue walking. Which wasn't very successful either, cuz i realised that i had stepped into Grade A MUD, bright orange variety. So for the next 10 m or so, i drag my foot along to try to scrape it off. After the zebra crossing, i anticipated that the cars zooming past would splash me and the intelligent me stood far far away from the edge of the pavement and waited for the best time to walk. Then a LORRY cruises by. I get soaked from knee down. Which is marvellous, as my socks were already mud-stained. No more rain + mud mornings for me. Especially tues, please please don't come on tues morning, rain. Thnks.
Geog field trip: Boring. Ho-hum. Yawn. Haw Par Villa, Kent Ridge Park and Mt Faber. Puh-lease, at least do stuff related to the place we're visiting la, what's the point of making us walk about and feed mozzies when we can just listen to the talk on the bus or sth?
Good Friday!: Yay, went out with G, vv fun. Haha, good shopping partner, she doesn't make me feel too bad cuz she buys almost as much stuff as me! We shall go again someday! :D
Sat: Cmps at plaza sing macs, we are very productive :) Gym was like, great! Except for teo's terrible conditioning.
Sun: TERMINATOR 2: JUDGEMENT DAY! Hoho, i like Arnold Schwarzenegger! He's so cool! :) Plus, he's the governor of California! I didn't know that. I was so sad when he had to be terminated, even though he always gets reprogrammed in the next movie, but still. I cried.
World Bank Games: FUN! I was Indonesia, with Erika Jiayi and Yishyuan. We sucked in the first round with looming unemployment rates but we struck deals with Europe and Japan and became a booming country! Haha, it's so amusing. Ppl are like shouting across the room "WE HAVE STEEL!" "SELLING LOW-SKILLED LABOUR!" USA was like so serious (haha yes you, yilin and yenlin) and was exploiting all the poor countries! And poor Venezuela got robbed bigtime. This game reminds me of some game i played in primary school where we had to do the same thing too, just that it's about singapore.
Lunch: I heartz bubble tea. Do the pearls really cause cancer? Stupid brewery tour timings were so rubbish and kept changing so we just sat in the canteen and talked. Then moved on to the squash courts to play! Haha, we have discovered yenlin's squash doppelganger - yilin. Both have powershots.
Brewery tour: Smelly. I liked the Tiger Tavern though, feels like a junior bar! We played I Never with the cups of coke we were given (no beer for under 18s). I Never is so intriguing :) Haha, someone has never crushed anyone before - we need to get her around guys, pronto! :D And a lot of other embarrassing stuff la. We were the only ones talking on the bus ride back, the rest of the bus was as if they were observing minutes of silence. We talked about even more stuff. So fun. :) Then there were the people with bursting bladders and we conveniently made the appropriate noises to drive them crazy. Heehee.
Okay, wan ting seems to love narrating. No more for today. Zip.

It feels like the exams are all over already! With a gazillion free blocks floating around yesterday and today, it really isn't that bad for a school day :) Played lots of squash and chooyenlin is violent. Like, really violent. Avoid physical closeness during the game or you may just end up a casualty. Guiqi watch out, you'll be the next victim. Haha. But squash is good and fun, you feel the calories simply melting away. :D
Played uno during another free blk. A game of uno with can go on FOREVER. Heh, i like sitting next to guiqi so i can deal her the colours she doesn't have. Fiona Lee was having a winning streak la, i'm very sure it's cuz she shuffled the cards, like shuffled all the luck to her. At one point in the game, i had so many cards, almost a third of the deck, that i had to separate my cards into piles.
Chinese was random guan4 yong4 yu3 which i'm pretty sure i will forget and never use. Was supposed to go for CIP and class relay after sch but both were cancelled so what do we do? Play squash again! Haha. It's the loveeee.
Today had less of those joy-bringing blocks, only one cuz ms chun didn't come. So the grp of friends sat outside class and talked about 101 random things. From childbirth to mutilation to erm, barnacles. hahahahaha, funneh. It's so interesting.
Viva tmr. I have to SPEAK math.

Boredom can actually kill sometimes.
Back to school again tmr, but with manymany free blocks. I like. :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIAWEN AND AERA, hope you enjoyed thurs.
Watched L Change the World at cine with chooyen guiqi and yenyee at cine first. Not as much stunning brain work as Deathnote and it feels so similar to Outbreak. The whole ebola and bombing the village thing. But whatever la, L is cute. :) Stupid mineral water cost me $2.40 though. Yes, 6-8 times the price in supermarkets. I am so bringing water everywhere from now on.
Chooyen left to get her teeth plucked and the three of us journeyed in the rain to marina square. We were coming up with ideas to present the cake and presents as we walked. Like, there was the "yenyee lying that she has to get home plan", the "go to the toilet plan" and the "I have to go buy sth for my mum plan". Haha, but we chanced upon polar puffs and cakes and decided to buy many different slices of cake instead and carry it in an Art Friend bag so they wouldn't notice. Smart, smart.
Lunch at macs where they keep playing the startup tune of maple story. God knows why but it really gets on your nerves. We were all sick cept for guiqi who wanted to quarantine us. WT: first stage flu = sore throat. JW: second stage = sore throat plus headache YY: third stage = everything plus cough. And she has cool lozenges which look like ribena pastilles but don't taste exactly like how they look.
We wanted to go bowling but it was closed for some private function till 3.30. Time then = 2.35. So we went to the arcade first. Bishi Bashi is like the ultimate heartracer. You just WHACK WHACK WHACK WHACK WHACK the buttons until your hands hurt and you feel like you're going to get a heart attack. They have funky names in the machine though, like Bikini Queen, Marilyn and Stud. Heh, i always lose when i play it. I suck la. Anw, we moved on to Para Para. It's the funniest thing on earth when you don't know how to dance properly. JW and i went first and guess what, we actually got through every round! But we looked like a couple of streetfighters going "shadugen!" or like we're swatting flies. G and Y tried to use their feet tgt with hands and resembled Mr Bean. For 50 cents, we played an amazing number of rounds and even got the high score! :D
Hmm i narrate too much. Anw, i bowled terribly but whatever, we had fun. The pink ball is my lucky ball! We gave jw and aera the presents + cake :) yay, i hope you all like them. Presents for each of them was a personalised notebook and photoframe. Refer to
www.xanga.com/potholes for pics+details.
Sigh, i'm down with the flu and my nose is a leaky tap. But tramp trials are tmr and i want to see the seniors. :)
Plus, no laoshi tmr.Photo editors are cool. ;)

The last of gym camps i attend and well, i must say, it's the one i won't ever forget. Not like i actually forgot about all the previous gym camps, but still.
After weeks of organizing with C, gym camp finally arrived and started with concert prep. Then icebreakers and torturing the juniors. Haha, with um, not so very fresh powder and lipstick. After lunch, we set them off on a scavenger hunt. "Be back in FORTY FIVE minutes okay!" The first grp came back in 8. Amazing how they actually got ringgit. The last item on their list was "Entertain the captains/exco". Now everyone knows lame jokes don't work on us. But proposals such as "Marry me because i made the effort to climb so high!" do, as well as singing a modified version of teletubbies. :D
Station games around school! I was doing the spider web station and honestly, you'd feel like a spy trying to avoid the laser beams. The animal-imitation was hilarious. "FROG!" Everyone starts hopping up and down. "HIPPO!" Everyone opens their mouth as wide as they can. "KOALA!" Everyone tries to hug something. Priceless.
C disappeared totally during dinner, without taking her phone or anything. Haha, i was so scared she was in trouble, or like taken away by mas selamat or something. I even went to the freaky KS Chee toilet with the horrific fossilized lizard to look for her! After dinner, the darling groups performed their grp items. So sweet :) It's like, they put in so much effort, with music and all! Haha, great job, everyone. Our item was really impromptu. Honest. Believe us :) Okay, not that impromptu but amusing all the same, no?
Night surprise was a blast. At least i didn't have to go through it. :D
Watched step up in the gym, i heartz channing tatum. Cucumber-flavoured chips are weird, only claire would love them :) Froze through the night and woke up like every 2 hours. Woke up to a rousing bout of hollaback girl. So amusing to see so many heads popping up one by one.
Urban hike! Stood at tangs for close to 4 hours. Like, 1 grp comes every one hour. I actually fell asleep standing there waiting under the sign. But it was quite fun. Haha, i didn't have to run about in the rain. Breaking camp was quite sad, like, it's the last camp i will attend in rgs.
Loads of thanks to the organizing committee and the whole team, seeing you all having fun makes me happy :) And especially claire, who's gone through 4 gym camps with me. Haha, actually, i never thought our sec 4 camp would be like this. I heartz you loads C.
Impossible is nothing, yoz.I guess i'll really miss this group of people. All of you from every batch. Love you all lots.
PS: Get pics from fellow teammates if you want, thank you. I didn't exactly have time to take.

Okay, here is my previous post on my xanga account:
"Hello :)
my my how exciting. I just suddenly felt like moving to xanga so yeah, here i am. I wonder how long it'll be before i get fed up with the layouts and move back to blogger. Anw, i think i'll miss my blogger, it's been with me for almost 2 years, can't really bear to abandon it. Ahh, move on wan ting, move on.
well la dee la, past few days have been funfunfun cept for geog which was bad. But i'm quite proud of myself, i actually remembered that recent article about China's one child policy! Then again, i messed the rest of the parts up.
Fun was cuz i'm surrounded by not so normal people. Yenyee the dinosaur/sadako and Jiawen tried to scare me outside the toilet and failed miserably. hah. then yenyee got pushed onto the sanitary bin by Guiqi and the chase ensues. Then we all take pictures. Yay.
Thursday was eve of geog SA and studying with yenyee can be so productive and not at the same time. For the first hour, we did so much. like, woah. But then we start laughing. and laughing. and laughing. Essentially, we spent half an hour simply laughing and talking. heehee
Art Friend is my new dream shop. It is one of the most amazing stores you can ever enter. I feel inspired and tempted to buy loads and loads of stuff everytime i enter. Like the bucket of foam hearts which i have wanted since sec 2 or the cool embellishments and whatnots. So many possibilities, so little capital. The woes of being a student. Sigh.
Did choreo for rhygym concert item today. Or more like, claire did and i operated the cd player. We went looking for the costume later on and ohmyword, it was so effing tiring. By the end of it, both she and I were bushed. Well, at least we got sth.
Ooh, when I was waiting for my family today, i went to read in the library. I've missed Animal Ark! I don't know why but i really like it. haha, maybe cuz it's about saving animals. I also flipped through cookbooks. Jamie Oliver's dishes are so . I will be a great chef someday. Or a patessier. Or a hotel owner. Or a zookeeper. So much for career talks.
Gym camp is in 2 days! "
And as you can see, my love affair with xanga lasted for a mere
4 days before it ended. Bravo. Whatever, i'm back. :D

hahaha, get it? If your surname is Li, your english name Mona and your chinese name Sa, you'd be Mona LiSa! :D
Anw, today was the day of name-giving. And it appears EVERYONE thinks names which contain alliteration are fun. Go on, guess the number one popular name i was given. Hint hint: think ALLITERATION. There's Kimberley Alyssa Lisabelle Lew, Yvonne Choo/Lim, Kelly Khoo, Lucy Liu and oh man, Ba Quah. Omg, that's the best man. I'll never name my child Ba. (note: None of these names are real, they are for pure fun and laughter)
Rain rain so much rain. I like the rain, cept that they keep postponing interclass relay. Annoying much since we keep having to report and dismiss. And we can't have our tennis assesment and we play captain's ball in the hall instead. For obvious reasons, captain's ball has never been my thing. Ah well, life's like that. :)
My new show is Mars VS Venus! It is awesomely funny, one of the best Singaporean dramas of last year. Guiqi is watching the new 9pm show so yeah, yenyee guiqi and i are gg to update each other on the shows we're watching. Saves time. haha.
We were talking about guys in dramas during chinese, mostly the main male lead and the second male lead. Like yenlin, she likes the male lead from the start. For me, i will like the second, then change to the main, Lew Guiqi, the poor thing, always likes the second male lead and always has to watch him be heartbroken. Yenyee ah, "varies" from drama to drama. haha, some of the guys are really an accquired taste, you need to watch for a while to take a liking to them.
Update on my pretty little burn: IT'S NOT HEALING. Like, the skin dries up, gets wet, peels slightly, THEN DRIES UP AGAIN. Over and over again, the cycle repeats itself. Feast your eyes:
Ewww.

IMITATION IS THE BEST FORM OF FLATTERY. hahaha, can't wait for a sleepover :D LYY! Volunteer your house! I want to see your dog who SHAT.
Am very tired today, maths peetee was being cranky at 12 am and i slept for a grand total of 3.5 hr after a 19.5 hr day. Pfft. And we never did solve the problem. But considering we only took slightly more than a week to complete it, hey, it's good :D
ohohoh 409 won class deco! YAY YAY YAY, we actually won! Good job to 405 and 406 too :) It feels so good to know that our effort didn't go to waste. And considering our dismal class deco last year (ie. no deco), this year is a great achievement for us. The problem now is, we've got to patch up our deco now. haha, it's all slowly coming apart.
Founder's day on sat was so entertaining. hohoho, the lion the witch and the wardrobe. and once again, the batch displayed it's vocal attitude. the concert was more of a presentation instead of a performance, but still nice :D I find the banners a little, um. Let's just say, aren't they a wastage of resources? School cheers at the end was so ironic/coincidental. "We'll fight in the sun, we'll fight in the rain" and the rain pours.
Oh, we have a new coach. I'll reserve judgement for now :) i'm a nice person.
