Once again, the MYAs are looming over us and omggg can't wait for them to be over! :D

Studying's not all that bad, you learn stuff, feel smart but yeah, people need breaks. anddd it's 12 days to the end of MYAs! That's less than 2 weeks! yay. gogogo!

Things i want to do when MYAs are over:
1. Go out. sat night dinner out made me realize how long i've not been out. I have no life.
2. Play this really old computer game which we found. It's so old, it was made for a windows 95.
3. Tidy up my computer files, make backup copies and the works. Three years i haven't organized my docs, it's about time, really.
4. Go shopping. Duh.
5. Watch a lot of tv. I really have no life, huh? :D
6. Exercise, play more squash etc.
7. Go for training. I can't believe i'm saying that but yeah, training's actually pretty fun right now, cuz teo's stepping in.
8. CLASS OUTING!

and many more things which i haven't really thought about yet cuz well, there's still exams to deal with. My dad stopped/excused me from going to my grandma's house tonight because he thinks i shld use the time to study industriously in a quiet environment at home. So yep, guess i'll do just that.

AFTER i finish blogging, that is. haha.

Oh guess what, Conceptual Physics is actually a really good book. It gets me interested in physics when i feel like thrashing all my physics notes. It's not very good as a textbook, but hey, it works for me. :) I hereby announce it as "The book to read when you're feeling damn shitty about physics"

After having so many teachers who are just teachers, you come to realize how unbelievably lucky you are to have teachers who actually care. Like Jeremy Wong and Dr Sakhar. and Teo. :) It just feels so different when you know that to them, the people matter more than the things they achieve.

I'm really upset that mr jeremy left, but i hope he gets the job he wants. And Dr Sakhar. I actually felt disappointed in myself when i got back my lit sa not because i did like shit but because you could feel the disappointment in him and how he takes how we did personally. Plus his speech about how the students matter the most. It's enough to make a person cry. Then there's teo, who understands what you're thinking and how you're feeling. He won't push you if he know you can't but he'll help you do what you can. Teo always makes me feel so positive about gym when i'm getting sick of it.

It's so rare to meet people who understand. and that makes it all the more sadder when you disappoint them.

I realized everytime i post, i write a lot. because i haven't blogged for a long while and many things have happened.

There's been ORA, which was small-scaled but quite fun. I like the dunking machine :D OM where all the teams were so so good, we are so much better than all the other schools really. And some people are just so biased. Yenlin chowyue and i went to support OM together and haha, every time chowyue and i are tgt stupid things happen. Stupid but funny. anw, great job ommers!

Monday 12 Apr was a school declared holiday cuz of good A level results but like all the industrial people we are, we still go back to school. Or maybe it's cuz RS presentations were on the following day. I went for Masquerade rehearsal for most of the time though. And limyenyee saved my life by appearing with a whole wallet of coins in the canteen where only the vending machines are working. Had lunch at plaza sing with claire and nazyra and i have been declared the slowest and weirdest eater who likes to dust the salt off her fries because they taste better that way. hah.

Tues - CmPS presentation. Thank goodness that switched the teachers judging. Didn't go too badly in my opinion. Baked oh-so-cute cupcakes and cookies in oh-so-cute cupcake cases at night as souvenirs for the tramp team.

Wed - Physics SPA and tramp comp. I cannot believe i dropped the stupid ammeter while panicking. Stupid stupid stupid. But rushed off to support tramp comp afterwards so yeah. I'm really really proud of you trampers! Could tell you all really enjoyed yourselves up there. Like Fiona was grinning so widely. haha. yay, Bdiv 2nd! great job, everyone, keep it up next year even though the judges may be imbecilic morons. Gym dinner at KAP Macs was quite amusing. Made quite a lot of noise though.

Thurs - Masquerade item prac during training. heh, vv fun cuz we digress and drift off halfway to take pictures. And i ran out after nazyra in socks cuz she forgot to take along sth. All the way to henry park gate okay!

Fri - NATURE WEEK PERF DAY! omg, i'm so proud of you, 409! I spent the morning doing the costumes for the characters while talking to claire. i particularly liked the balloon noses and squidstye's tentacles which are actually stockings stuffed with newspaper. Ingenious, no? It's so exciting being part of this whole thing and i'm really thankful to all who put in so much effort in our performance. The brilliant scriptwriters, the actresses, the background rappers, prop makers, EVERYONE. So so so proud of you 409, for coming together :D Love you all muchly.

Masquerade day 1 after school. AND CLAIRE'S BIRTHDAY! yay, happy birthday girl! be good now ;D we got her a cake and this locket thingum which we hid in tons of raspberry jelly so she had to earn it by eating. Our performance was quite good, hopefully, don't think we screwed up majorly. oh, and we didn't remove our hair cuz it was too much of a hassle to tie it again on saturday. Lots of people thought our masks were cool! yay, but quite uncomfortable since it hardens up. The rhythmic items were fab, flex and flowy and all. I was kinda rejecting the whole performing thing at the start but hey, thinking of it now, i wouldn't really mind going through the whole thing again. :)

Annnndddddd it's sunday night and the weekend where i hardly did any work at all is ending. I find it quite sad actually, to think that most of my life has been defined by how much work i have done. And that i can't slack without feeling guilty afterwards. Like how i am feeling right now at 9.40 pm blogging even though i have not done chinese compre.

Anw, the past week has been terribly busy and packed and late nights but hey, i loved every moment of it. It was really a week of almost everything in my life. School, 409, gym, CmPS, friends and all. To put it in 4 words, it was the love.

I should honestly be doing the expected-to-be-completely-crap-or-it-won't-be-an-FA SS FA now but whatever, it's expected to be crap anyway. I have no idea how mr chew finds those loopholes in arguments. I can never do that.

Golf is quite, achy. for the hands. and i suck at it, can't get the ball to fly!

Tramp comp is next week. CmPS presentation is next week. Gym concert is also next week. Physics SPA is also also next week. And a lot of other things are also on next week. I so love next week. Okay, SSFA SSFA.

Hey world, it's been some time. but school's been just like it always is.

Friday 040408 was Sports Fest! and 409 was running for class relay, which made us runners very scared of embarrassing ourselves in front of the whole school by tripping and falling or dropping the baton. haha. So we practiced in the corridor outside class on friday while waiting for mr jeremy to come have english lesson. we used a marker for a baton.

Well, we didn't drop the baton in the end or fall. We even won! :D yayyayyay. Xinyuan was really really really fast man, thank goodness her talent didn't go unrecognised. Poon Chow Yue the extremely lame was also running for her class and she shared the same fears as us. As she put it "Eh, Meijia, if you fall, you can just lie down and blend into the track. Yilin, you can run into the field and lie down." (mj's from tarbet and yilin's from buckle) -.-

Cheerleading was all fab, i think waddle's costume is really cute. and this year, every hse put in their mascot into their routine. wow.

In the end, waddle was overall first, richard second and hadley third. Hadley lost her sports fest 1st place but i guess it's expected. Well done, still. went for dinner with guiqi and yenlin and we talked a lot. a lot.

Last night we celebrated my grandma's 76th birthday at the usual chinese restaurant. Family gatherings are always so trying. But well, it's family.

and coming on to what's been keeping us busy, our new darling, Zack! He's a 6 month old white cat :D I was very scared of him at first because he almost jumped onto my bed but i'm okay with him, he's absolutely adorable. but he bit me! like, chomp! and, cat shit stinks. really really badly. Ah well.
