it's august and it's the baby boom! im broke after buying so many presents. yilin, joan, penny and afiqah, happy fouteenth birthday! it was so fun cuz we were all giving the gifts during the first 15 min of sci when we were supposed to be in the lab but wasn't. then we continued during recess.

national day celebrations 06. it was quite fun, especially the community singing when everyone was singing "Home" in english when it was playing in chinese. there was also a lot of skits, songs, dances sort of thing but i like the fashion parade. we were mostly playing with the piggies jiawen gave us. (:

After the celebrations, elyssa emelia jiawen penny yilin and I went for breakfast/lunch together. And on the way, i got tricked into eating this SUPER spicy sweet by emelia! even after i spat it out, my mouth was still burning and thank god yifei came along with her water bottle. then penny gave me a sour sweet to counter the effects. i went into spasms and convulsions at first due to the combination of both flavours but soon recovered. they tricked their friend into eating it too and because of the distraction, we missed our stop and ended up eating at Singapore Poly mcdonalds. :) after eating, penny had to go home to pack while the rest of us headed for orchard rd once again. we split up later on cuz yilin and i wanted to go shop for wallets. we decided on the white and purple roxy ones. :D we went to emelia's hse to bake cookies after that.

cookies started out FUN. then it became like torture. we baked loads and loads of cookies cuz we had lots of ingredients. get the pics from emelia if you want. and after yilin and elyssa left, emelia was washing the dishes while i was laughing at her, emelia the slave, cuz she really looked like a slave :P :P afterwards, jiawen's dad kindly gave me a lift home!
